Primary care in Cutler Bay
Annual physicals, same-week sick visits, lab work and long-term management of chronic conditions — with a provider who has practiced family medicine for more than twenty years and actually remembers your history.
A primary care practice built around continuity
The value of a primary care provider comes almost entirely from continuity — from someone knowing what your blood pressure ran three years ago, which medication gave you a rash, and what your baseline looks like when you are well. That is difficult to get at a walk-in clinic where you see a different clinician every visit.
Florida Healthcare Solutions is a small practice by design. Orlando Quevedo, APRN, sees his own patients. Appointments are scheduled with enough time to have a real conversation rather than a seven-minute encounter, and the same provider reviews your labs, adjusts your medication and follows up.

Care in English and Spanish
Cutler Bay and the surrounding communities are deeply bilingual, and medicine practiced through a translator is not the same as medicine practiced in a patient's own language. Orlando Quevedo trained and practiced as a family medicine physician in Cuba for over twelve years before qualifying as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the United States. Every visit, consent form and set of discharge instructions is available in Spanish — vea esta página en español.
Insurance and payment
We accept most major medical plans for primary care, including Medicare and a range of Florida commercial and marketplace plans. Because plan networks change, we verify your specific coverage before your first visit — call (305) 457-3154 with your insurance card handy. Self-pay rates are available and quoted upfront for patients without coverage.

Frequently asked questions
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. Florida Healthcare Solutions is accepting new adult patients. You do not need a referral — call (305) 457-3154 or book online from our contact page.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept most major medical plans, including Medicare and a range of Florida commercial and marketplace plans. Because networks and plan tiers change frequently, the reliable answer comes from a quick verification call. Have your insurance card ready and we will confirm your specific coverage and any copay before you come in.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Same-week appointments are frequently available, and we hold time for acute problems. Saturday appointments from 9am to 5pm are available for patients who cannot take time off during the week.
Can you be my primary care provider (PCP) on my insurance plan?
In most cases yes, if we are in network with your plan. You would designate Orlando Quevedo, APRN, as your PCP through your insurer's member portal or by calling the number on your card. We can walk you through the process.
Do you do blood work in the office?
Yes. Routine blood work is drawn in the office and sent to a partner laboratory. Your provider personally reviews the results and contacts you to discuss them, rather than sending an unexplained number to a portal.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your photo ID, your insurance card, a list of every medication and supplement you currently take with doses, and any recent lab results, imaging reports or specialist notes you have. If you have been managing a chronic condition elsewhere, records from that provider are especially useful.
Do you treat children?
Our practice focuses on adult and adolescent medicine. For infants and young children we are happy to refer you to trusted pediatric colleagues in the Cutler Bay and Palmetto Bay area.
